Yamaha Montage 7 Keyboard Flagship 76-Key Synthesizer Workstation

Yamaha Montage 7 Keyboard Flagship 76-Key Synthesizer Workstation

The Yamaha Montage 7 Keyboard is a flagship professional synthesizer and workstation designed for elite musicians, sound designers, and touring performers who demand the highest level of sonic control, expressive capability, and studio integration. Built by Yamaha, this instrument represents the peak of Yamaha’s synthesis technology and performance innovation.

At its core, the Montage 7 features two powerful synthesis engines: Advanced Wave Memory 2 (AWM2) and FM-X. The AWM2 engine delivers ultra-detailed, high-resolution sample-based sounds, including acoustic pianos, strings, brass, and electric instruments with exceptional realism and dynamic response. The FM-X engine is an advanced 8-operator frequency modulation system capable of producing complex digital textures, evolving pads, sharp leads, and deep bass sounds.

The 76-key semi-weighted keyboard is designed for expressive performance, offering velocity sensitivity and aftertouch support for advanced control over sound articulation. This makes it suitable for both keyboardists and synth performers who require flexibility across piano-style and synthesizer techniques.

A defining feature of the Yamaha Montage 7 Keyboard is its Motion Control Synthesis Engine. This system allows real-time manipulation of multiple sound parameters simultaneously, with the Super Knob acting as a macro controller that can shape filters, effects, modulation, and performance dynamics in real time.
