Accurate Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor Professional Reference Mixing Speaker

Accurate Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor Professional Reference Mixing Speaker

The Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor is a flagship nearfield reference monitor in Yamaha’s acclaimed HS Series, designed for professional mixing, mastering, and critical listening environments. As a spiritual successor to the legendary NS-10M, it continues Yamaha’s legacy of delivering brutally honest, uncolored sound reproduction trusted by recording engineers and producers worldwide.

At the core of the Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor is its precision-engineered bi-amplified system, featuring a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter powered by 95 watts of total output (60W LF and 35W HF). The woofer delivers controlled low-frequency response down to 42Hz, while the tweeter extends cleanly up to 30kHz, ensuring detailed high-frequency clarity. This wide, flat response allows engineers to hear every element of a mix with exceptional accuracy, revealing imperfections that may otherwise go unnoticed.

The Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor also includes ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM tuning switches, allowing users to adjust output based on room acoustics and speaker placement. With balanced XLR and TRS inputs, it integrates seamlessly into professional studio setups. Its reputation for accuracy makes it an essential tool for ensuring mixes translate consistently across all playback systems.
