Vic Firth 7A Drumsticks Lightweight Hickory Jazz & Acoustic Drum Sticks

Vic Firth 7A Drumsticks Lightweight Hickory Jazz & Acoustic Drum Sticks

The Vic Firth 7A Drumsticks are lightweight, precision-crafted drumsticks designed for drummers who prefer speed, control, and a softer playing feel. As a slimmer alternative to the popular 5A model, the 7A is especially suited for lower-volume musical settings where finesse and articulation are more important than power.

Constructed from American hickory, these sticks offer an ideal balance of durability and responsiveness. Hickory is known for its shock absorption and long-lasting performance, making it one of the most trusted woods in professional drumstick manufacturing.

The thin diameter and reduced weight of the 7A design allow for faster stick movement and greater control, making it ideal for jazz, acoustic performances, light pop music, and studio sessions. This makes it a popular choice among drummers who need precision and subtle dynamic expression.

Featuring an oval wooden tip, the Vic Firth 7A produces a clean, articulate sound on both cymbals and drumheads. This ensures clarity in ride patterns, ghost notes, and soft dynamic passages, especially in acoustic and intimate performance environments.

Favoured by jazz drummers, students, and musicians in softer musical settings, the Vic Firth 7A remains a go-to stick for controlled, expressive drumming.
