EV ELX118P Passive Speaker 18-Inch High-Output Professional Subwoofer

The EV ELX118P Passive Speaker is a high-performance 18-inch subwoofer designed to deliver powerful, deep, and controlled low-frequency reinforcement for professional sound systems. Built by Electro-Voice, it is engineered for live sound, installations, DJ systems, churches, and event production environments that require strong and reliable bass output.

The EV ELX118P Passive Speaker is equipped with a high-quality 18-inch EVS-18K woofer, capable of producing deep sub-bass frequencies with clarity and impact. It delivers up to 134 dB peak SPL, making it suitable for medium to large venues where strong low-frequency reinforcement is essential for music and live performances.

With a frequency response extending down to approximately 35 Hz, the ELX118P provides solid low-end performance that enhances full-range speaker systems such as the ELX112 and ELX115. This makes it an ideal companion subwoofer for creating a complete and balanced PA setup.

The enclosure is constructed from durable 9-ply, 15mm plywood, ensuring long-term strength and reliability under demanding touring and rental conditions. A robust 18-gauge steel grille protects the woofer from physical damage during transport and use.
