AKG P120 Condenser Microphone Cardioid Studio Vocal & Instrument Mic

AKG P120 Condenser Microphone Cardioid Studio Vocal & Instrument Mic

The AKG P120 Condenser Microphone is a professional medium-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for studio recording, home production, and project studio applications. It delivers clear, accurate sound reproduction suitable for vocals, acoustic instruments, and general recording tasks.

The AKG P120 Condenser Microphone features a high-performance capsule with a relatively flat and neutral frequency response, allowing it to capture sound sources with clarity and detail. This makes it a reliable choice for engineers who need a clean and honest recording character.

Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound coming from the front while reducing unwanted ambient noise from the sides and rear. This helps improve isolation during recording sessions, making it suitable for untreated or semi-treated studio environments.

The microphone includes a switchable 20dB attenuation pad, allowing it to handle high sound pressure levels without distortion. This makes it suitable for loud instruments such as drum kits, guitar amplifiers, and powerful vocal performances.

A built-in bass-cut filter helps reduce low-frequency rumble, wind noise, and proximity effect, ensuring cleaner recordings in real-world studio conditions. The AKG P120 requires 48V phantom power, making it compatible with most professional audio interfaces and mixing consoles.

The AKG P120 Condenser Microphone is a dependable and affordable studio microphone that bridges the gap between entry-level and professional recording equipment.
